There’s something about the Nomads golf events that seems to bring out the best in the junior players. This was once again the case when the Nomads North vs South NOoM event got under way at Country Club Johannesburg’s Rocklands course yesterday, with the cream of junior talent rising to the top of the leaderboard.

In-form Casey Jarvis, Kian Rose and Carl Mwale shot to the top with impressive scores of 5-under-par 67, but the trio is being closely followed by SA No 1-ranked junior and winner of the ‘Nomads Slam’ Jayden Schaper and Cole Stevens on 4-under, with Ayden Senger a further shot back on -3.
