We are deeply saddened to advise that our National Junior Vice Chairman, Carl Potgieter, has passed away from a suspected heart attack.

Carl was a wonderful man with a gentle spirit. He was generous with his time and rose quickly through the Nomads ranks to become our National Junior Vice Chairman. He was captain of Western Province Nomads last year and brought enthusiasm and passion to his role, all wrapped in his wonderful sense of humour  and joy for life. Carl will be sorely missed by the Nomads community and the many friends he made along the way.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family and to the Western Province Club. No man is an Island! We will remember Carl as the dynamic person that he was and will miss him and his future contributions to Nomads.
