OUR REFWORK                   - Until August 2007 our Member Club’s Executive
                                            Committees operated according to the policies
                                            and decisions laid down at Meetings of our National
                                            body.
                                            The directives issued were contained in two
                                            documents, namely,

                                            a) a DECISIONS REGISTER which covered the formal
                                                directives issued to help standardise the running of
                                                the Clubs and
                                            b) a POLICY MANUAL which covered the informal
                                                guidelines issued to assist with the day-to-day
                                                running of the Clubs.

Additionally there is another booklet in existence named the GUIDELINES FOR
RUNNING AND ESTABLISHING NEW CLUBS.

        These documents covered in greater detail than does our CONSTITUTION and RULES of PLAY,
        matters pertaining to the management of our Clubs which have been addressed by the Club
        over the years along with, in many cases, the motivation behind such rationale. This manual
        served our Club as a handbook, guidance and reference work for matters of a routine nature
        which recur regularly resulting in these decisions becoming standard operational procedures.

                 Over the years the line between Policy and Decisions had, in many cases, become increasingly
                 blurred and some items which have been promoted as guidance had become policy by virtue of
                 their usage, thus a decision was taken to overhaul and combine the contents of all the above
                 documents into one manual document.

This has come to be referred to as the REFWORK.

Its content, in several Chapters, Sections and Parts, is as covered per the index.

The Chapters are in pdf format and can be “zoomed” to suit the computer equipment available.

OUR CLUBS - This part of the website will become the more active
                       section in time as the Clubs become more electronically
                       proficient. The ultimate intention here is for each Club
                       to have its own webmaster who will add relevant
                       information to the site on a regular basis. Items such as
                       their monthly newsletters, fixture lists, start sheets,
                       future events etc... Via this means Nomads nationwide
                       will be able keep up with the happenings in the Club
                       and also be in touch with their friends activities. This
                       should be of benefit not only to current Club members
                       but also to those who no longer participate at that Club
                       due to having transferred to other areas, being non-active
                       players etc.

It is intended that all Nomads Clubs will have a
sub-section each, including our international fraternity.
