Trophy

In 1999 the then National Chairman, Nigel Tipping, decided to institute an annual Trophy to be awarded to the Nomads Club which, in the opinion of the then current, out-going, National Chairman, had made the most meritorious impression during his year of office. Since its inception the award has been made as follows:-

Our congratulations go to all the Clubs accorded the honour of being awarded this Trophy by virtue of being "First among Equals".

[At the National Council Meeting held during the 2007 National Tournament it was decided, in conjunction with and the agreement of the original presenter Nigel Tipping, to discontinue the award due to the inherent difficulties associated with choosing a winner from the various Clubs when no clear-cut winner can be discerned based on the merits of the Clubs in contention during that year.]
