The sequence of Nomads Evolution 
    
The Nomads Club as it is today came about as a transition from NUMICS  via Follow-the-Sun through the development of Nomads locally spreading to parallel organisations in Rhodesia/Zimbabwe, Botswana, New Zealand, Australia, England and Swaziland.

Each stage of our development is recorded under the appropriate headings on the left.

Our Archives, in its current format, were initiated in 1983 at the behest of the, then, National Chairman, Mick Sugden, under the curatorship of Les Floyd. The first display of our memorabilia took place at Randpark Club on the occasion of the 25th Anniversary of Transvaal Nomads in August 1985.
Since early 1987 the Archives have been housed in a permanent location at Germiston Country Club,
