Inter-Club contests

Now that the Nomads organisation boasts 12 Clubs locally throughout South Africa, 3 Clubs in Zimbabwe, 1 each in Botswana , New Zealand, England and Swaziland and 3 in Australia it has become the norm for the local regions to get together in a series of "Inter-Provincial" games or National Tournaments to foster the spirit and camaraderie our Club affords its Members. These events, which are very popular amongst our Members, coupled with the National Tournaments of South Africa and Zimbabwe, which take place over the course of a week each, the  Australian and Botswana National Tournaments, which each take place over two days and the 12 monthly meetings on each home Club fixture list each year, lead to a very crowded and exhausting calendar for the active participants who take part in as many events as possible.

Not only do Nomads hold these events on an annual basis but Clubs also hold their own away tours, Gary Player Knock-out Competitions and, to celebrate their founding, the Clubs also hold Anniversary celebrations every 5 years.

The following lists of events has been extracted from the individual Club diary inserts. The dates given are those as indicated by the respective Clubs at the time of going to press and may have to be changed due to "clashes" with other events but, in general, are a close indication of the approximate time at which such events are likely to be held. For those Nomads wishing to participate in any of these occasions you are advised to please check with the respective Club Captain or Match Secretary to ensure the finalised date of the event.
